Preparing young people with skills for life

We're Scouts and everyone is welcome here. Every week, we help almost half a million people aged 4-25 develop skills for life. Are you ready to join the adventure?

Welcome to 4th Eastcote

The 4th Eastcote Scout Group has been part of the local community for decades, giving young people a place to grow, explore, and discover their potential. Built on the values of friendship, adventure, and service, our group has supported generations of families in Eastcote and the surrounding area. Many of our current volunteers were once young people in the group themselves, continuing a proud tradition of giving back and keeping Scouting thriving locally. Over the years, we’ve expanded our programmes, modernised our approach, and strengthened our links with the community, all while staying true to the core principles that make Scouting such a powerful force for good.

Our group is structured to support young people from age 4 all the way through to 14, with dedicated sections tailored to each stage of their development. We currently run Squirrels (4–6), Beavers (6–8), Cubs (8–10½), and Scouts (10½–14), each led by trained volunteers who bring energy, creativity, and care to every session. Behind the scenes, a committed leadership team and executive committee ensure the group runs safely, smoothly, and sustainably—from managing governance and safeguarding to planning events, camps, and community projects. Together, our volunteers create a welcoming environment where every young person can try new things, build confidence, and feel part of something bigger.

So, what do Scouts do?

Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers. Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.

But, we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges.

Every week we give almost half a million 4-25 year olds the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
